As a global media localization and access services company, Haymillian serves a wide range of clientele including TV channels, VODs, production, distribution and eLearning companies for the delivery of high-quality subtitles, closed captions, subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH), audio description, voice-over, and dubbing services.
Dolores Irazábal, Business Development Director, Latin America: ‘We are working on some interesting projects, like the dubbing of an animation series in eight different languages in parallel or the dubbing of nine K-drama series, a genre that is becoming more and more popular in Latin America and across the globe’.
Currently, Haymillian is enhancing its presence in French-speaking territories: ‘Earlier this year Alexandre Collet was appointed as Business Development Director for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Our ambition is to become partner of choice for production and distribution companies and streaming platforms in these countries’, added Irazábal.
The company is well aware of the challenges of its clients when facing content localization. The executive emphasized that the main objective is to ‘help make the entire process as simple and easy as possible’, and added: ‘We have the knowledge and expertise to bring to fruition any localization project no matter how complex or demanding. At the same time, we adjust our workflows to better align with our clients’ internal procedures’.
Haymillian pays ‘great attention’ to every step. ‘Additionally, we take every measure to protect our clients’ content and to ensure the secure and responsible handling of sensitive information, as our TPN assessment and ISO IEC 27001:2013 certification attest’, she completed.
Asked about the company’s presence in Latin America, Irazábal concluded: ‘Within two years the number of dubbing projects catered for by Haymillian Mexico has increased to the degree to dictate the addition of new recording and mixing rooms. In August 2022 we started this project and currently have additional three recording and three mixing rooms in our Mexico facilities’.
