Client Corner – Q&A with Talentia

In this Client Corner, we talk with Beatrice Piquer, CMO of Talentia, one of the leading international publishers of solutions for digitizing HR and finance functions for ETIs.

Talentia launched its new brand recently. Could you tell us about it?

Talentia Software is a leading provider of financial and HR management solutions. As a part of its new growth strategy, the first step was to clarify its positioning and rejuvenate the brand. Indeed, the company has undergone intensive external growth over the past 10 years and it is time to rework the company’s fundamentals and DNA. Namely, a refocusing on mid-size companies and the development of unified platforms around 2 business areas: HR and Finance, starting from payroll and accounting. Talentia’s aim is to make the growing complexity of mid-size companies in HR and Finance easier to manage, hence the new slogan: “Complexity made Easier”. The rejuvenation of the brand with the recent announcement of a single brand with a new, younger and more dynamic visual identity is an essential step in Talentia’s transformation strategy.

What are the pillars of Talentia’s strategy? Could you share the brand’s short and long-term goals with us?

Our goal is to become the leader of HR and Finance platforms for mid-size companies simplifying their complexities through SaaS and unified platforms combining automation (RPA or Robotic Process Automation), Artificial Intelligence and bots. Following the brand rejuvenation, the next steps to Talentia’s 3-year strategy are to extend its positioning. Today, the international business already represents 30% of Talentia’s turnover. The goal is to increase this to 60% of revenue outside France by 2022. To reach our goal we also aim to develop the ecosystem of integrating partners, mainly integrators, consulting firms, and AMOA partners, with Talentia’s strategic focus on its core business: the design of HR and Finance software solutions for mid-size companies.

What are the challenges of developing HR and Finance software solutions used by organizations in different countries with different laws and practices?

The biggest challenge is when having as a customer a multinational company with operations across the world with different legislations and different needs and having to incorporate all the local processes in one single installation. We are proud of our R&D team that constantly develops new functionalities and new ways to cover all our customers’ needs.

What are the benefits of content localization for a company like Talentia? How important is it to have its Suites translated?

Having a software in context of different counties’ legislations and of course, different languages is very important for us, especially when we have customers across different countries, so our goal is to meet their needs and speak their language.

“Glocal” seems to be the core idea behind your HR software solution.

Talentia HCM is natively designed to support common challenges faced by multi-country complexities.  Our configuration tools to manage specific fields, our drop-down lists and visibility by country with a rich set of configuration options help us meet customer needs at different levels. This powerful feature will automatically display or hide information based on the users’ company and country. Global HR will remain in control of the full workforce with global visibility,  while at the same time only country-specific information is visible in local areas.
